The challenges we face

In a world constantly seeking convenience and efficiency, a groundbreaking project emerged: the development of an intelligent interface for vending machines. This wasn't just about bringing technology to the everyday; it was about redefining user interaction in a seamless and intuitive way. The challenges were multifaceted, ranging from ensuring software compatibility and long-life display to delivering cost benefits while being adaptable to existing vending machine infrastructures. Moreover, the solution had to accommodate a maximum 12-inch display, necessitating a modular and intelligent interface that could revolutionize the vending experience.

Amirai took on this challenge with a vision to not just meet but exceed these requirements. The goal was to find a smart, modular touch interface that could blend sophistication with functionality, offering a smart solution for coffee and vending machines alike. The answer lay in reimagining the interface not as separate components but as an integrated modular Human-Machine Interface (HMI) system. This system was designed to be versatile, capable of being installed in a variety of machines with minimal or no customization needed.

What we do

The breakthrough came when Amirai introduced this integrated modular HMI system, a move that not only addressed the initial challenges but also opened new avenues for application. What started as a quest for a desktop solution soon expanded, with the customer deciding to implement this innovative interface in upright snack machines as well. This decision was a testament to the interface’s adaptability and appeal.

The culmination of Amirai's efforts was the introduction of the Universal 10.1-inch Touch Display System into their product portfolio. This system embodied the essence of the project: a blend of intelligent design, user-centric functionality, and universal applicability.
